Southside Little Miss Kickball is a member of Little Miss
Kickball International, Inc. Southside is the largest of 17
leagues located throughout the state of Texas. Since 2004,
our website has been the source of information and news
about Southside and Little Miss Kickball in general. Over
the last three years this website has been viewed
over 360,000 times by visitors from around the
world.

Congratulations to all our All-Stars for a great showing at
the 2010 State All-Star Tournament in Brownsville. Our
Teens showed up with one goal in mind, and on Sunday
afternoon after a tough loss to NWA the night before, they
proved that they were the top team at the Tournament.
Teenage Road to the Championship:
Friday: (W) East Brownsville 6-2; (W) UHO 2-1
Saturday: (W) Northwest Corpus Christi 2-0; (L)
Northwest Austin 3-0
Sunday: (W) UHO 4-0; (W) Laguna 1-0; (W) TOT 1-0;
Championship #1 (W) NWA 1-0; Championship #2 (W)
NWA 1-0
Southside Adult Kickball was founded in 2009. It
offers Adult Kickball for Women and COED Play.
Registration is currently underway. The Seaon will
begin in early August. Visit our website at

On June 13, 2010, Southside Adult Kickball awarded their
first scholarships to graduating seniors, Maria Galvan
(left) and
Jackie Trevino (right), pictured here with
League President Jesse Kendall. Each girl
received $500 towards their
college expenses. Congratulations, Ladies and Good
Luck in all your endeavors.

Judy Gallagher Memorial Fund
On
April 21, 2008, The Southside Family suffered the loss of a
great supporter. Judy Gallagher, wife of Meritorious
Board
Member Jim Gallagher, mother to veteran player Amy Gallagher
and aunt to Trey Hopkins was
called home by the Lord. Her impact on our league will not
end with her passing. The family has established the SSLMK -
Judy Gallagher Memorial Fund.
Those interested in contributing to Judy's Memorial Fund can

78411. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jim, Amy, Trey and
their entire family.

LMK Scholarship
Little
Miss Kickball International offers the opportunity to
graduating Seniors to apply for several scholarships. These
scholarships are awarded at the All-Star Tournament yearly.
If you would like to apply, please download the application
here. Remember, all scholarship applications are due by
April 15th.
