The 39th Annual Southside Closing Ceremonies brought a large crowd to our fields.
This year's ceremonies were held at
6:00 PM
President Marianne Mojica welcomed everyone and we began with the Pledge of Allegiance and the
Kickball Pledge, led by players Denise Trevino,
Veronica Trevino and Fernanda
Garza. This year's
invocation was lead by Senior
Pandas Coach, Mario Lopez. Time for the awards! This year's top candy seller was
D'Andrea Garza from the PeeWee
Cougars. D'Andrea received a
$100 Prize for her efforts.
Other winners are listed below. Every team was announced one by one and each player received their
participation trophies. Top teams in each division were recognized and awards were given for
3 year Pee Wee Players and 10+ year Graduating Teenagers. The announcement of this year's
All-Stars concluded the ceremonies. Thank you for a great year, your support
and dedication to our league is greatly appreciated. Please make time to come out and support our
All-Stars as they compete at this years State All-Star Tournament hosted by
Riverside Little Miss Kickball.
We will bring the CHAMPIONSHIPS back to SOUTHSIDE!
